Can AI Reimagine My Porch?
I used AI to explore how my existing porch could become a more beautiful, private, usable outdoor living space before I bought or changed anything.
What I asked the Tool to figure out
I added the Porch Design Tool to ChatGPT and gave it a photo of the existing porch.
From there, the Tool walked me through the process. It asked how I wanted to use the space, what wasn’t working, what mattered most, and what kind of look and feel I wanted.
Together, we narrowed it down to more privacy, comfortable outdoor seating, warmer lighting, and the feeling of a finished outdoor room.
Then the Tool helped me explore those ideas visually on the actual porch. We tried different possibilities, including bamboo privacy panels, outdoor seating, and string lights, so I could actually see the options before deciding what was worth buying or changing.
The results
AI began with the existing porch, explored a different design idea, and then created the final version around the requested privacy, bamboo, comfortable seating, and white lights.
